Day 1 Hanoi
You’ll arrive in Hanoi and check in to your hotel whenever works best for you. The rest of the day is open, so kick back after traveling or get out and start wandering around the city on your own terms.
Day 2 Hanoi
A 4-hour walking tour takes you through Hanoi’s cultural side. You’ll start at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, then grab authentic local lunch before heading to Dream Bean Café for traditional Vietnamese drip coffee and a barista session. From there, you’ll catch trains passing just inches from homes on Train Street, spend time soaking in the vibe around Hoan Kiem Lake, and browse Dong Xuan Market for souvenirs and local finds.

Day 3 Hanoi to Sapa
Early morning you’ll transfer to Sapa up in the mountains, arriving by midday. After checking in to your mountain-view accommodation, the afternoon is yours to relax, recharge, or wander through this misty mountain town at your own pace.

Day 4 Sapa
A guided walk through Sapa takes you to the stone church and town square while learning about the region’s cultural history and the traditional Love Market. Then you’ll hike a scenic trail down to Cat Cat Village to see Hmong textile crafts, beeswax batik, and local rice wine making. End the day at a hilltop café with views of terraced landscapes, choosing to walk back or take a private transfer.

Day 6 Sapa to Hanoi
You’ll leave Sapa and transfer back to Hanoi, checking in to your hotel. For your final evening, you’re free to do what you want, whether that’s revisiting a favorite spot, trying a dish you missed, grabbing warm pho, having a cold drink on a rooftop, or taking one last walk through the Old Quarter at night.

Day 7 Hanoi to Halong Bay
Transfer to Halong Bay and board your boutique cruise. You’ll sail through limestone karsts, paddle by kayak into hidden lagoons, and catch the sunset from the deck.

Day 8 Halong Bay to Ninh Binh
Start with a calming Tai Chi session and breakfast on the bay. After disembarking, you’ll head south to Ninh Binh where rivers, rice fields, and limestone karsts all meet. Check in to your eco-lodge in the countryside.

Day 9 Ninh Binh
Your day in Ninh Binh takes you to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and its ancient temples where you’ll learn about the Dinh and Le dynasties. You’ll cycle through the surrounding countryside and small villages to get a real sense of rural life. After a buffet lunch, you’ll hop on a bamboo boat for a peaceful ride through Tam Coc, floating past towering limestone mountains and scenic river views. The evening is yours to check out Tam Coc’s laid-back streets.

Day 11 Hanoi Departure
Check out of your hotel and head to the airport for your departure. Make sure to arrive at least 3 hours before your flight as you leave Hanoi with memories from your trip.
