Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Tunis, Airport Pick-up
Welcome to take our Tunisia private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.
After you arrive, your guide and driver will pick you up at Carthage Airport on time based on your flight schedule and then take you to the hotel we booked for you. The remaining time of the day will be free by yourselves to have a rest or walk around freely.

- Day 2 Tunis City Exploration
This morning, we will first head to visit the Bardo Museum, which is the world’s most complete gallery of Roman mosaic and collage. It has the most mosaics in the world, colorful and lifelike, which will take you back to the ancient times of the land. Then we will proceed to explore the ancient city of Carthage, which existed between the 8th century BC and 146 BC.
Lunch will be arranged on your own. Your guide will recommend some proper restaurants to you according to your taste. In the afternoon, we will continue to visit the Medina. In the center area of medina, you will see the second oldest mosque, Zitouna Mosque, which was built in 732. In the chanting hall of the mosque, there are 184 stone pillars, which were removed from the ruins of the old town of Carthage. You will witness the classical architecture up close.

- Day 3 Transfer to Tabarka, Sightseeing along the Way
Today we will set off for Uthina, which takes around half an hour on the way. Uthina is an ancient Roman-Berber city, whose infrastructure construction will definitely astonish you. After that, we will head to visit the great mosque and its reversed clock. Then we will visit Dougga, which is grand and well-preserved, where you can learn about the layout of cities and the public spaces in Roman times.
At noon, you will have today’s lunch at a popular local restaurant. Then we will continue to head to Djerba, which is famous for the variety of fruits trees and delicate nature parks. After finishing the visit here, you will be taken to Tabarka and stay overnight at a well selected hotel.

- Day 4 Tabarka – Kairouan – El Jem – Sousse
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Kairouan, which is the 4th holiest city for Islam, owning abundant historical relics and religious architectures. It will offer you a great chance to know about the architecture style and history of Tunisia. Upon arrival, you will be guided to visit the Aghlabit’s Basins and Sidi Sahbi the Great Mosque.
Lunch will be arranged on your own, but your guide would be glad to offer you some suggestions. After lunch, we will visit the Amphitheater of el Jem, which is the best preserved Colosseum of ancient Rome and one of the three major Colosseum in the world. Then we will move forward to Sousse, which is the 3rd largest city in Tunisia, known as the “Garden Harbor in the Mediterranean”. In Sousse, you will learn about the military role of this city in ancient times through its architectures.

- Day 5 Sousse – Departure from Tunis
If time permits, you will continue to visit Sousse in the morning. Then transfer you to Tunis Airport to catch your homebound flight. Wish you a pleasant journey.
