Day 1
Arrival in Yerevan
You’ll touch down at Zvartnots International Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Yerevan for the night. It’s a straightforward arrival day to settle in and rest up before exploring the city.

Day 2
Yerevan City Tour
Your guide meets you at 10:30 and you’ll walk through Yerevan’s main sights including Republic Square, Mashtots Avenue, the Opera House, and the Cascade. From there, head to Gum Market to check out local fruits, vegetables, and traditional Armenian goods. After browsing handmade crafts and art at Vernissage, you’ll finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3
Symphony of Stones – Geghard Monastery
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll drive to the 1st-century Garni Temple, one of Armenia’s only surviving pagan temples. Next comes the basalt rock formations at Symphony of Stones, then the medieval Geghard Monastery where you’ll see the legendary piercing lance. You’ll participate in a traditional lavash bread-baking master class at a local house, have lunch with lavash and cheese, then head back to Yerevan.

Areni Cave – Momik Winery
Starting with breakfast at your hotel, you’ll visit Khor Virap Monastery and get views of Mount Ararat. Later you’ll explore Areni Cave with its archaeological finds including the world’s oldest leather shoe, check out the ancient cellar site, and wrap up with wine tasting and lunch at Momik Winery in the vineyards before returning to Yerevan.

Day 5
Noratus – Dilijan
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll drive to Lake Sevan, one of the world’s largest lakes, and visit Sevanavank Monastery. Continue on to Noratus village to see its historic collection of khachkars (cross-stones), then stop at Mikaelyan’s Family Farm to sample unique Armenian cheeses. The day wraps up with a walk along Sharamberyan Street in Dilijan to explore museums, shops, and traditional wooden houses before heading back to Yerevan.

Day 6
Zvartnots Temple – Yezidi Temple
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll see the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Ejmiatsin Cathedral, the spiritual heart of the Armenian Apostolic Church founded in 303, and the 7th-century Zvartnots Temple ruins. Then you’ll visit the Yezidi Temple of Aknalich, the world’s largest Yezidi temple, to learn about Yezidi religion and culture before returning to Yerevan.

Day 7
Aragatsotni Region – Amberd Fortress
You’ll transfer to Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city about 120 km from Yerevan. In the Aragatsotni region, you’ll have lunch at a local house with homemade wine tasting, then visit Alphabet Park and the medieval Amberd Fortress built on the slopes of Mount Aragats. After that, you’ll return to Yerevan for the evening.
