Introduction
Our World Unite! City Hub Cultural Exchange Center offers a Japanese conversation course for beginners in central Tokyo. If you want to be able to engage in basic Japanese conversation as quickly as possible, then this is the right choice for you!
A new course starts once a month. You can participate for as little as one week.
The course takes place from Monday to Friday, with 4 lessons per day (each lasting 45 minutes), and is particularly affordable!
The first week is 180 USD.
Each additional week is only 110 USD.
The course has a maximum duration of 8 weeks.
If you already have knowledge of Japanese, you can join an ongoing course, and the start date is in this case possible every Monday. Please contact us regarding this.
If you need accommodation, you can book as an extra affordable homestay (Japanese host family) or sharehouse accommodation for you. Staying with a Japanese host family gives you a further opportunity of cultural immersion and to apply your Japanese language skills.
Please note that the host families are usually located in Chiba, Saitama, Yokohama and western Tokyo and one-way commuting times to the our centre of up to 90 minutes may apply.
The minimum duration to book sharehouse accommodation (mixed dorm room 4-8 share or twin room) is 5 weeks. If you would like to book longer than 5 weeks, please contact us.
Participation in the language course is also possible on a Temporary Visitor Status (visa-exempt entry), which is available for many nationalities in Japan. No particular student visa is required. If you cannot get visa-exemption, you can join on a Tourist Visa, but we cannot provide documents for the visa application.

Day 1 Start of Beginners’ Japanese Conversation Course
